RESKILLING issues its first official Press Release
The RESKILLING project has proudly published its first official press release, outlining the project’s mission, early actions, and ambitious roadmap to help Europe's transport workforce adapt to the evolving mobility landscape.
As the transport sector rapidly transforms through Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) technologies, RESKILLING is working to facilitate a better preparation of the workforce to these dynamic scenarios, promoting the achievements of skills and support necessary to thrive in this new era.
The press release highlights the project’s preparatory efforts over the initial months and provides a clear vision of the impactful tools and activities planned for the coming years. These include skills mapping, employment impact assessments, and the creation of knowledge-sharing platforms that will inform workforce policies and strategies across the EU.
Matina Loukea (CERTH/HIT), the RESKILLING Project Coordinator, shares her perspective:
"The deployment of CCAM is transforming the transport sector, with a major impact on the workforce. With RESKILLING, I’m confident we will not only advance the assessment of employment impacts but also create robust tools to help businesses strengthen workforce capabilities."
