Preparing Europe's Transport Workforce for CCAM: the ReSKILLING Employment and Skills Observatory (Matina Loukea, Pavlos Spanidis, Nikolaos Chandrinos, Evangelos Bekiaris from Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) / Hellenic Institute of Transport)

With this poster, we are introducing our future AI-powered observatory to map emerging roles, identify skills gaps, and support policymakers, industry, and training providers in prepare a workforce that is ready for what is coming with automation in transport

ReSKILLING for the Journey Ahead: A value chain perspective on transport professions in the CCAM era (Susana Val, M Teresa de la Cruz, PhD from Zaragoza Logistics Center, Jasper Tanis, Davide Dolente, Karoline Führer from Ecorys, and Matina Loukea from CERTH/HIT)

By 2040, CCAM will have touched every layer of mobility (from manufacturing to decommissioning). With this poster presentation, we have mapped the full picture: which jobs may shift, which may disappear, which will emerge, and, critically, who may be left behind if appropriate action is not taken. We have also developed a matrix connecting technology adoption levels to workforce impact, with vulnerable workers in the picture.

We also held a short pitch session (Matina Loukea) for transport researchers and educators to share further the project core goals and objectives at the ECTRI exhibition stand!
