RESKILLING kicks off Its 1st Partner Board Meeting: highlights from 6 months of progress
The RESKILLING project has reached its first major milestone! On 23 June, partners and Advisory Board members came together for the first Partner Board Meeting to reflect on the project progress so far, assess early results, and set the course for the months ahead.
This initial meeting marked a key moment to take stock of the project's achievements and build momentum for the next implementation phase. Let’s take a look at what has been accomplished in just six months.
What Has RESKILLING Achieved So Far?
1. Stakeholder Mapping
RESKILLING has conducted an extensive mapping of relevant stakeholders, identifying 7 main categories and 33 sub-categories. This mapping exercise lays the foundation for inclusive engagement across the mobility ecosystem.
2. CCAM Job Trends Analysis
The team analysed employment trends across the entire Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) value chain, drawing on existing projects, job advertisements, literature reviews, and previous studies. Particular attention has been paid to understanding the direct and indirect impact of CCAM technologies, especially on underrepresented groups in the workforce.
3. Foundations for Flagship Tools
Initial steps were taken toward two key outputs of the project:
-
The CCAM Employment & Skills Observatory
-
The RESKILLING Inventory
These tools will play a central role in supporting evidence-based policymaking and targeted reskilling initiatives.
4. Impact Assessment Framework
A comprehensive framework has been designed to monitor and evaluate the project’s progress.
Welcoming the Advisory Board
The meeting also marked the official introduction of the Advisory Board members, a group of distinguished experts whose strategic insight and professional experience will guide RESKILLING throughout its lifecycle. Their involvement will ensure the project remains relevant, ambitious, and aligned with industry and policy developments.
As RESKILLING moves forward, the focus will remain on fostering a fair, inclusive transition of Europe’s mobility workforce in light of the digital and green transformation.
